Fettuccine in Creamy Sun Dried Tomato and Mushroom

Are you tired of eating the same traditional pasta over and over again? Try this simple recipe, Fettuccine in Creamy Sun Dried and Musroom Sauce. The sweetness of sundried tomatoes and cream creates a balance which makes you crave for more. This dish is easy to prepare at home or any occasions.



350g Spinach Fettuccine

All Purpose Cream

1 Medium Sized Onion

2 Cloves Garlic

6 Strips of Bacon- Diced

1 can Shiitake Mushroom

½ cup Sun Dried Tomatoes (in olive oil)

5 Basil Leaves- Chiffonade

1 cup Chicken Stock

Salt and Pepper to Taste

Alfalfa Sprouts- for garnish

Crispy Bacon Strip- for Garnish


  1. Cook the Pasta according to Package Instructions
  2. In a pan, medium heat, sauté the Bacon, Onion and garlic for around 3 minutes. Add the sun dried tomatoes and mushroom. Sauté it again for another 3 minutes.
  3. Add the chicken stock, let the mushroom and sun dried tomatoes absorb the flavor of the chicken. Simmer until it reduces.
  4. Add the all-purpose cream and basil. Simmer it again for around 1 minute. Season with Salt and Pepper. Toss the pasta and serve it warm. You may add alfalfa sprouts and crisped bacon on top.
